Sam Cannarella aka ” Sentury Status ” was born and raised in the east end of Toronto. He began as a founding member of the Toronto based Rap group R.O.T. As his Rap career developed he found his group in need of instrumental beats that would match their lyrical style, but was unable to find what he was looking for. Sentury Status sat down with an old computer and simple audio programs where he banged out hit instrumental beats for his group. He soon found his second passion in audio design. With much practice and dedication Sentury Status soon made a name for himself in the Toronto studios and streets, even becoming a ghost engineer for recognized local studios. With the buzz traveling fast, Sentury Status decided to open Sentury Status Studios to accommodate the traffic of up and coming artists & producers that wanted a piece of his sound. With over 15 years in the industry, Sentury Status has thousands of beats under his belt and more being created daily. His years of experience and “golden ear” have aided him in being considered by many as Canada’s top up and coming beat makers and have won him numerous competitions.
